Wedding photographer in Tuscany
Getting married in Tuscany is the dream of many couples, and it has some of the most beautiful wedding locations in Italy. The Val d’Orcia, in the province of Siena, is one of the loveliest areas of the region: an oasis of natural beauty, with gentle hills shaping the landscape, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Siena is the most important city in the area – a medieval town famous for the Palio – and a beautiful wedding location in its own right; Arezzo is nearby. The Siena countryside is full of gems. Among the places I would suggest are Villa Magi, Borgo la Grancia, Castelvecchio, Villa Contignano, La Foce, Borgo Casabianca, Castelnuovo Grilli and Castello San Fabiano, as well as towns such as Pienza, Montepulciano, Castiglione and Monticchiello.
Tuscany is not only the Val d’Orcia: Florence, Pisa and Lucca are wonderful too. But for a fairy-tale wedding, the Tuscan countryside is hard to beat.
Wedding photographer in Rome
Celebrating your wedding in Rome is a wonderful idea. History, art and legend blend beautifully here, and there is a special light in the city. The historic centre is concentrated in a small area, so beautiful locations are close together – along the Tiber, in the parks, among the marble buildings.
I love the bridges over the river, which are perfect for spectacular wedding photos, and the Colosseum makes every image priceless. With great food, beautiful churches and plenty of places to stay, Rome is an ideal wedding destination – every corner of the centre is a potential backdrop. I am an international photographer at heart. Wherever you decide to say yes – elsewhere in Italy, in Europe or further afield – I am happy to travel. If I have never worked at your venue, I research it and visit it before the wedding to see the light and the best backdrops.
